Difficulties that wear you down
People rarely see a psychologist because of a single argument. They come when a pattern keeps repeating: with a partner, with family, at work. Or when they notice they no longer say what they think, keep putting themselves last, or have lost interest in most things.
Some common situations:
- tension or growing distance in a relationship;
- a separation, or struggling to make a decision;
- family relationships or friendships that feel heavy;
- low self-esteem, fear of being judged;
- a lack of motivation spreading to several areas of life.
What we do in sessions
First we look at how things actually unfold: what sets off the conflicts, what you feel, how you react. Putting these pieces in order often brings some relief on its own.
Then the work focuses on what can change on your side: stating your needs more clearly, setting limits, stepping out of roles that no longer suit you. Self-esteem gets rebuilt from these small changes, not from repeating positive phrases in the mirror.
Living in Luxembourg, far from home
Many people in Luxembourg live far from their families, sometimes in an international couple, often in a language that isn't their own. That adds its own strain to relationships. Sessions in English, French or Italian let you talk about it without having to translate what you feel.
